SLikeNet 0.1.2 Release Notes

Today we are proud to announce the release of SLikeNet 0.1.2.

This release was issued outside our planned release schedule to resolve an important security issue (CVSS base score: 7.5) which effects all previous versions of SLikeNet as well as RakNet 4.081/4.082.

Other highlights in this release:

–  fixed ABI compatibility issue with RakNet
–  fixed further (smaller) security related issues
–  fixed crash in NATCompleteServer sample
–  fixed build error in RakNet compatibility mode
–  fixed build errors with older CMake versions

Apart from this release, we continued our work on the next bigger release of SLikeNet: 0.2.0.

Last but not least a statement on our own behalf:
While SLikeNet is being developed under the umbrella of a company (SLikeSoft), the project and the company itself is a complete volunteering effort by its founders. We do not make any money with the company to such an extend that would allow us getting paid for the work we do and rather invest our own spare time and private resources to keep everything going. Donations help us to invest larger chunks of time to work on the company and the project and be able to pay for the costs for hosting, taxes/book keeping consultant, development tools/hardware, etc. See the donations page for further details.
